Transplant-implant difference

The Biocompatible Artificial Hair Implant 4.0 is a simple and fast Outpatient Micro Dermo Surgery that consists of gradually inserting, under the anesthetized scalp, the desired amount of fibers until the thickening required by the patient is obtained.

If correctly performed, it represents, today, a soft dermatological surgery procedure that provides satisfactory results in the vast majority of cases.

The Automatic Biocompatible Artificial Hair Implant 4.0 is an easy, fast and ambulatory technique as a solution to female and male alopecia problems that offers an Immediate Aesthetic Result and a large amount of hair in a short time. It is used as a remedy for Male and Female Alopecia (Baldness) at all stages and ages, as well as when it is necessary to integrate other techniques. It requires small periodic implants to maintain the degree of thickening achieved, requires proper scalp hygiene and good post-implantation maintenance. The best results are obtained in the case of thinning patients and on medium baldness.

The TRANSPLANT, or Autotransplant, (FUE and FUT) consists of taking hair from the nape of the neck and transplanting it to 1, 2, 3 or more bulbs in the thinning and/or bald area. Where applicable and if well performed, today it is the surgery that gives satisfactory results in the majority of cases. The Aesthetic Result becomes visible after 9-12 months after the surgery. This is an operation that can only be performed if the patient has a sufficient donor area. The number of hairs that can be taken is limited and not all transplanted hairs grow back. The best results are obtained on medium baldness.
